The distinctive horseshoe-shaped waterfall known as Tumalog Falls in Oslob, Cebu, is one of these natural wonders. At the base of the falls, a sizable pool of milky blue water is collected by a sheer curtain of water that cascades down the limestone rock face. The waterfall stands out as a jungle paradise amid the towering bamboo and tropical trees that surround it. When the sunlight catches the water just right, it sparkles in the sunlight despite the moderate spray. The limestone cliff is covered in moss and ferns, giving the area a more otherworldly, tropical feel. Seeing these two separate events is a rare phenomenon. The Sumilon Island Sandbar is the ideal location for unwinding and taking in the breathtaking sunset views. The lagoon on Sumilon Island is a serene portion of the island. It is situated directly beside Oslob Municipality and beneath the cliff that faces Cebu’s main island. You can go canoeing in the shallow water if it’s deep enough for you to paddle in and enjoy gliding over. Due to the lack of sea waves in the water, it is secure. From the resort, you may rent a canoe. In addition to canoeing, fishing is another enjoyable sport that is good for families and children. A bamboo and grass or nipa leaf canopy covers the fishing area. But if you want to catch bigger fish, you might need to rent a boat to carry you out into open water. Explore The Historical Treasure of Oslob, Cuartel De Espana

In the south of Cebu, in Oslob, there are many priceless old buildings from bygone eras. The main attraction in Oslob is its oldest street, Calle Aragones, where you can see the Cuartel de Espana’s unfinished military barracks made of 91 centimeters (36 inches) thick coral walls that have stood for more than a century. History claims that because of the town’s advantageous location, this structure functioned as the first line of defense for naval infantry. The building is thought to have been constructed from the remains of a five-story bell tower that collapsed close to the town church. The Cuartel de Espana is a historical building that has been repurposed. It’s a peaceful location for taking pictures and admiring the scenery. This unfinished structure stands as one of Oslob’s heritage sites. Beautiful, unfinished and eerie at night. But during the day, the Cuartel Ruins provides a rustic background perfect for pre-wedding photos.

Churches have served as command centers, artillery positions, temporary hospitals, and other uses during the colonial era in the Philippines. Imagine the number of tales that these ancient buildings’ walls could share if they could talk. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Oslob has been around since the 1830s. The church had been destroyed by two fires in addition to bearing witness to centuries of repression, conflict, and suffering. The inside of the church was destroyed in a fire catastrophe in 2008. Surprisingly, the patron saint’s image was unharmed because it was protected by a glass case. The 73 icons that were situated close to the original bell tower have also survived. You can go see the recently restored Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church right now. While being very new, its narrative of creation and survival will undoubtedly astound you as the previous churches have done.
